David Eric Studio was named for its original owner David Eric Mayer. He opened the studio over 30 years ago in Upper Montclair. Jerry and Caroline Rizzo acquired the studio on February 28,1992 and chose to keep the name due to its long history in the Industry.

Jerry and Caroline cater to clients who appreciate the high degree of professionalism and personal attention they provide. This is necessary to create the finest quality of artistic photography. Jerry and Caroline personally oversee all the details of each couple from the initial appointment until the final delivery of the album. They accept a limited number of events in order to ensure the highest standard of quality and service.

There is a staff of three here at David Eric Studio. Jerry and Caroline, have won awards for album design and their photography, Caroline was just awarded The Fuji Masterpiece award as well as the court of Honor Plaque at the Professional Photographers of New Jersey Convention.

Our goal is to make each album unique. We believes that album creation is a partnership. As part of the album design process, we spends as much time as needed with the client, so that your pictures display their personality. Caroline personally oversee's and pre designs and the album and then sits down with each client at the computer and tweaks the client's memories in a comprehensive storytelling album.

We knows how to put his subjects at ease. our artistic eye lends a certain quality to images, that is not able to be found elsewhere. We promise to unobtrusively capture the client's wedding images that reveal their special day, relationship, and individuality.

We support you on your wedding day. You will never see us strong-arming you away from your guests so we can get some prize-winning shot in the fading sunset. (Unless you want that, of course.) We cover the portraits of your family quickly and comfortably, getting people to relax and think about the honeymoon when they are tense. We remind you to breathe, which results in a warm picture that shows a happy human being rather than one who is stiffly holding in their breath, waiting for us to finish. We like what we do.
